Okubo Judo Club competed in the Twin Falls Invitational Tournament. Congratulations to Andrew, Gideon, Brenda and Grayson. These kids fought hard and competed in two divisions. We are so proud of our students!
Gideon fought his best today and received the OUTSTANDING PLAYER AWARD. He also won a Gold and Silver medals. He was also in the team competition representing California.
Grayson fought hard and won a Gold and Bronze medal. He had four matches that were back to back because he was fighting on two mats.
Andrew fought hard and won two Silver medals. He was able to hold on while he was being choked and won the match in the 13-14 year old division. Andrew is 11.
Brenda fought hard and won a Gold and Silver medal. She fought in her first black belt pool and was in the team competition representing California.
